The House Committee on Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring, under the Chairmanship of Rep. Boma Goodhead, announces a Public Hearing on the Non-Oil & Gas and Oil & Gas Bills. This important event is scheduled to take place on:

Date: Thursday, 18 April, 2024
Time: 12 noon
Venue: Conference Room 034, Zero Floor, House of Representatives New Wing Extension, National Assembly Complex, Abuja.

The information was provided by the Clerk of the House Committee on Local Content, Mrs. Kehinde Olaiya, on Friday, who emphasised the importance of these Bills in promoting local content development in Nigeria's non-oil & gas and oil & gas sectors.

Accordingly, Rep. Boma Goodhead invites members of the public, industry stakeholders, and interested parties to contribute to the Bills during the Public Hearing. She stated, "This public hearing is a crucial step in our legislative process, and we are committed to ensuring that the voices of all stakeholders are heard. Your input will help shape legislation that promotes local content and drives economic growth in our country."

This inclusive approach is in line with the 10th Assembly of the House of Representatives' commitment to transparency and accountability in legislative processes.

The Public Hearing presents an opportunity for stakeholders to provide valuable insights and recommendations that will shape the future of local content development in Nigeria's key sectors. The House Committee on Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring looks forward to robust engagement and meaningful contributions from all stakeholders.

Signed:

Rep. Akin Rotimi, Jr.
House Spokesman / Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs
